We are pleased to announce that Jaderson Cordeiro has officially been appointed as Crandall University's Athletics Director, following his successful tenure in the interim role.
Since transitioning from the Registrar's Office to Athletics in September, Jaderson has demonstrated exceptional leadership during a period of significant challenge and opportunity. His dedication, professionalism, and vision have earned him the respect of colleagues across campus as well as within the ACAA community.
Jaderson brings a strong academic and athletic background to this role. He holds a Master of Management from Crandall University, along with a Bachelor of Education in Physical Education, Health, and Sports, and a Bachelor of Physical Education and Sports. A former varsity volleyball player, he has extensive experience in athletics through league management and personal training. This year, he also served as head coach of the Crandall women's cross country team.
"We are thrilled to continue working with Jaderson as he undertakes transformational strategies to further enhance our athletics program," said Dale Stairs, Vice President for Student Life and Transformation.
Reflecting on his appointment, Jaderson shared, "My goal is to help build an inclusive, competitive, and positive athletics program—one where athletes can grow both on and off the field and court. I am grateful for the opportunity to be the official Director of Athletics and am excited to see what the future holds for me in this role!"
Crandall University remains deeply committed to supporting our student-athletes in every aspect of their development, and we are confident that Jaderson is the right leader to guide the program forward at this important time.
