Chargers Finish Strong at ACAA Championships
The Crandall Chargers delivered another solid showing on both the men's and women's sides, highlighted by a runner-up finish from Maryanne Gard in the women's race.
Gard led the Chargers with a 2nd-place result, crossing the line in 27:17.4, while Rylee Stanford followed closely with a 4th-place finish in 28:00.5. Emily Britton and Lydia MacArthur ran together through the latter stages of the course, finishing 21st and 22nd, and Lydia Bodechon rounded out the lineup as Crandall continued to show depth and consistency.
On the men's side, Luke Purdy paced the Chargers with an 1st-place finish in 28:59.0 completing the clean sweep this season. Jackson Culberson and Declan Andrews followed as part of a tight pack through the front of the field, while Luc Blanchette completed the scoring group. Tobey Shannon and Justin Reimer closed out the team effort with steady runs.
The Mens team earnned their 7th ACAA banner.
Overall, the Chargers showed balance, resilience, and continued progress as they pushed through another competitive meet.
