Chargers Face Tough Road Test Against Mount Saint Vincent
The Crandall Chargers faced a challenging road matchup and fell 6–0 to Mount Saint Vincent on October 5th at Mainland Common.
Mount Saint Vincent set the tempo early, scoring five times in the opening 23 minutes to take control of the match. The hosts added one more goal in the 76th minute to complete the scoring.
Despite sustained pressure, the Chargers continued to compete throughout the match. Dominique LeClair delivered a strong effort in goal, making 10 saves while facing 28 shots, keeping Crandall within reach through long stretches of play. Defensively, the Chargers worked to stay organized against a high-volume attack.
Offensively, Crandall generated three total shots, with Jayden Groundwater and Brianna Killam each recording shots on goal. The Chargers earned one corner kick and continued to look for opportunities on the counter despite limited possession.
While the result did not go Crandall's way, the match provided valuable experience against a strong Mount Saint Vincent side and highlighted the resilience of the Chargers in a demanding road environment.
