The Crandall Chargers earned a strong 3–1 win (26–24, 16–25, 25–22, 29–27) over UNBSJ on Saturday afternoon at Crandall University, closing the match with a dramatic extra-point fourth set.

Crandall edged out a tight opening set before UNBSJ responded in the second. The Chargers regained momentum in the third and showed poise late in the match, fighting off multiple set points in the fourth before sealing the victory at 29–27.

Miguel Gionet led the Chargers offensively with 10 kills on .400 hitting, while Jack Hillier added 10 kills and six digs. Ben Brun delivered a physical performance with 10 kills, six digs, and three block assists, and Connor Kirkland contributed six kills, three service aces, and two block assists.

Francois Benoit added nine kills, three aces, and five digs, while setter Mico Guiao orchestrated the offense with 37 assists and a team-high 16 digs, helping Crandall total 50 kills in the match.

Defensively, the Chargers were active at the net with 11 block assists and matched UNBSJ point-for-point in extended rallies, showing composure in the match's biggest moments.

With the win, the Chargers continued to build momentum on home court and will look to carry that confidence into their next matchup.
