Chargers Drop Three-Set Match to Dal Rams

The Crandall Chargers battled throughout the afternoon but came up short in a 3–0 loss to the Dal Rams on Friday at Crandall University.

Dal set the tone early, capitalizing on efficient attacking to take the opening set 25–17. The Chargers responded in the second set, tightening defensively and pushing Dal to extra points. Crandall fought off multiple set points, but the Rams edged out a 26–24 win to take a 2–0 lead.

Crandall continued to compete in the third, trading points through the middle of the set before Dal pulled away late to close out the match 25–20.

Charlie Benoit led the Chargers offensively with 11 kills and added six service aces, applying pressure from the service line throughout the match. Jolie Allain contributed eight kills and strong back-row defense, while Emma Visser added seven kills and three block assists.

Setter Kallie Woodworth directed the offense with 25 assists, while Amy LeBlanc anchored the defense with 11 digs. Brianna Tingley chipped in at the net with two solo blocks and two block assists.

Crandall finished the match with nine service aces and showed resilience in the tightly contested second set.

The Chargers will look to regroup and build on the competitive stretches as they continue conference play.
