Chargers Defeat UKC in Four Sets at Home

The Crandall Chargers earned a four-set victory over UKC on Friday afternoon, winning 29–27, 19–25, 25–21, 25–20 at home.

After a tightly contested opening set, the Chargers regrouped following a second-set setback and responded with strong performances in the final two sets to secure the win. 

Crandall edged out UKC in a back-and-forth first set before UKC evened the match in the second. From there, the Chargers found their rhythm offensively, posting improved attack efficiency in sets three and four while limiting UKC's opportunities.

The Chargers hit .303 in the third set and followed with a .195 mark in the fourth, controlling the tempo and closing out the match. 

Jolie Allain led the Chargers with 19 kills on a .292 hitting percentage, while Charlie Benoit added 11 kills and four service aces. Emma Visser chipped in seven kills and contributed defensively with 12 digs.

Setter Amy Le Blang guided the offense with 31 assists, and the Chargers were strong on the defensive end, finishing with 60 digs and seven total blocks.
