Chargers Fall to Holland in Straight Sets
The Crandall Chargers were unable to gain momentum Sunday afternoon, falling 3–0 to Holland at the MCCE in Charlottetown, PE.
Holland controlled play from the opening serve, winning the match in straight sets 25–16, 25–14, 25–14 and limiting the Chargers' offensive opportunities throughout the contest.
The Chargers battled through long rallies in the opening set but struggled to convert offensively as Holland built separation late. Similar patterns followed in the second and third sets, with Holland applying consistent pressure from the service line and at the net.
Crandall continued to compete point for point, working to stabilize serve receive and extend rallies, but was unable to slow Holland's rhythm enough to shift the momentum.
