Chargers Sweep USA on the Road
The Crandall Chargers put together a dominant performance on the road, earning a straight-sets victory (25–17, 25–15, 25–23) over USA on November 21st at USTA.
Crandall controlled the match from the opening serve, hitting efficiently in the first two sets and limiting USA's offensive rhythm. The Chargers faced a tougher challenge in the third set as USA pushed late, but Crandall stayed composed and closed out the sweep.
Jolie Allain led the Chargers offensively with 12 kills on .562 hitting, adding six digs and consistent pressure at the net. Charlie Benoit followed with 11 kills, while Kallie Woodworth contributed five kills and directed the offense with 33 assists. Brianna Tingley added five kills, and Rachel Zijlstra chipped in with four kills on efficient swings.
Defensively, Amy Le Blang anchored the back row with eight digs and added three service aces, helping Crandall apply pressure throughout the match. As a team, the Chargers finished with a strong .329 hitting percentage and totaled nine service aces, keeping USA out of system.
With the win, Crandall capped off a strong road performance and will look to carry this momentum forward as they continue conference play.
