Chargers Fall to UKC at home

The Crandall Chargers dropped the contest to UKC, falling 5–0 on September 14th at Mathieu Martin High School.

UKC opened the scoring early and carried a 1–0 lead into halftime before pulling away in the second half with four goals. Despite the scoreline, Crandall showed resilience defensively, particularly in goal, as the Chargers faced sustained pressure throughout the match.

Goalkeeper Tim Leaman delivered a standout performance, recording 16 saves while facing 21 shots, helping keep the game within reach for long stretches. Crandall generated limited offensive chances, finishing with one shot on goal, as UKC controlled possession and tempo.

UKC capitalized on its attacking depth and late momentum, scoring three times in the final 25 minutes to extend the lead.

The Chargers will look to regroup and focus on defensive organization and possession as they prepare for their next match.
