Chargers Earn Home Win Over UNBSJ

The Crandall Chargers picked up a strong 2–1 victory over UNBSJ on September 7th at Mathieu Martin, using a pair of second-half goals to secure the road win.

After a scoreless first half, Crandall broke through in the 61st minute when João Peretti found the back of the net with an unassisted finish to give the Chargers the lead. Crandall continued to apply pressure and doubled the advantage in the 76th minute, as Ben Hardwick scored, again unassisted, to make it 2–0.

UNBSJ responded late with a goal in the 90th minute, but the Chargers held firm in the closing moments to seal the victory.

Crandall limited UNBSJ's offensive opportunities throughout the match, holding the hosts to just three shots, while generating timely chances of their own. The Chargers showed discipline defensively and composure in key moments, particularly after UNBSJ's late push.

The win marked a strong response following the season opener and demonstrated Crandall's ability to close out matches at home.
