Chargers Earn Clean Sheet Win Over Holland

The Crandall Chargers picked up a strong 2–0 victory over Holland on September 21st at Terry Fox Stadium, earning a clean sheet behind a disciplined defensive performance and early attacking success.

Crandall struck early, opening the scoring in the 17th minute when Manil Alaouche converted a penalty kick to put the Chargers ahead. Alaouche doubled the lead just six minutes later, scoring again in the 23rd minute with an unassisted finish to give Crandall full control of the match.

From there, the Chargers focused on defensive organization and game management, limiting Holland's attacking chances despite sustained pressure in the second half. Holland finished with nine shots, but Tim Leaman stood tall in goal, making six saves to preserve the shutout.

Crandall generated four shots, three of which were on target, and earned six corner kicks as they applied early pressure. The Chargers' back line held firm throughout the second half, preventing Holland from finding a way back into the match.

With the win, Crandall continued to build momentum and confidence as the season progressed.

The Chargers will look to carry this performance forward as they prepare for their next matchup.
