Chargers Hold Off Holland for 77–70 Win

The Crandall Chargers earned a hard-fought 77–70 victory over Holland on Thursday night, using balanced scoring and clutch free-throw shooting to secure the win.

Crandall built momentum early and stayed composed down the stretch, knocking down 20 of 25 free throws to keep Holland at bay. Ethan Culberson led the Chargers with 20 points, attacking the rim consistently and finishing a perfect 9-for-9 from the line. Dave Hutton added 16 points, including seven made free throws of his own.

The Chargers received a major lift from their bench, led by Jayden Lucas, who poured in 17 points on efficient shooting, including three three-pointers. Jayden Johnson made his presence felt on both ends of the floor, contributing 10 points, six rebounds, four blocks, and two steals to spark Crandall's defensive effort.

Despite some shooting struggles from deep, Crandall controlled key moments of the game with timely stops and strong interior play, finishing with 31 total rebounds, six steals, and five blocks. The Chargers' ability to get to the foul line and convert proved decisive late as Holland attempted to rally.

With the win, the Chargers continue to build momentum as they head into their next matchup looking to tighten up ball security after committing 18 turnovers.
