Season Preview

After the departure of some vetern players, paired along with the addition of a new head coach. The 2014/15 season is a building year for the Chargers Womens Soccer team. As a team they have set both team and individual goals that each and every player is 100% committed to. So far the women have played two league and one exhibition game and we have improved in each outing on statistics such as possession time.

Head Coach Kate Kristoffel says "Our goals keep us focused in practice and in games as we get better as a team day by day and game by game. I'm proud of the girls commitment as they not only talk the talk of what they want to achieve but they are walking the walk of actually putting it on the field. We are blessed to have an incredible coaching team with experts in physical, technical, tactical and mindset development of athletes as well as a goal keeping specialist. We all agree that even in the few short weeks we have worked with the team, we see these girls as a dream to work with and expect to have a very rewarding season. One of the reasons I moved to Moncton from Halifax was to coach this team and I know now that it was the right move."

This season the Chargers are planning a few service projects helping out in the community. Crandall Women first will be visiting some kids who are patients at the IWK Childrens Hospital in Halifax while there on a weekend double header on September 27th and 28th.

This will be a different team by the end of the season so stay tuned and come out to support these amazing ladies.
