CHARGERS HEADING TO ACAA PLAYOFFS

CHARGERS HEADING TO ACAA PLAYOFFS

Crandall University men's soccer, in just their second year in the Atlantic Collegiate Athletic Association, have made a final push for playoffs, and it came down to the final regular season game of the year.

With the University of Kings College travelling to Moncton - both teams had a chance to make playoffs, if you win, you're in.

UKC started fast, but Chargers were able to weather the storm for the first 5 minutes, and then proceeded with controlling the play for the next 20 minutes.
When center mid #2 - Ben Trail chipped a beaut into striker #19 - Victor Frohmann, who with excellent control, moved the ball to his right, and cracked a 20 foot, dipping shot to open the scoring.

Crandall had several chances to add to their lead, but the game finished 1-0 and pushed the Chargers into the playoff, for their first time in their men's program history.

Playoffs will be hosted by St. Thomas University in Fredericton, NB.
