Chargers Cross Country Adds Arnold Kipngetich

Crandall University is pleased to announce the addition of Arnold Kipngetich to the Chargers Men's Cross Country program for the 2021-2022 season. Arnold is from Eldoret, Kenya and graduated from Malava Boys High School in 2019, where he represented his school in cross country and track and field at the local and regional levels. Arnold now trains at an athletics camp in Kaptagat, a renowned village home to many of the world's best endurance runners.

Arnold will pursue a Bachelor of Arts. Aside from athletics, he has a passion for volunteering with community service organizations.

"Arnold's well-rounded training regime aligns well with that of Chargers XC's, and I am excited to see what he will bring to the team. Arnold is the latest addition to a men's roster that is quickly growing in size and talent, and which will be aiming for a spot on the podium at the ACAA Championships in the fall," said Chargers Head Coach Brandon LeBlanc.

What brings Arnold to Crandall? "I chose to study at Crandall University because the people seem friendly and the school offers an environment that makes one feel at home. The school is located in an amazing region of Canada, and I am excited to start my life there as I know it will be full of happiness."

Welcome to Chargers Cross Country Arnold!
