Crandall University is pleased to announce the commitment of Moncton High School's Souleye Drisdelle. The 6'5 senior forward, saw success this year winning the Dairy Town classic and competing in the Spirit Games during the Hoop Classic. Drisdelle was a leader in his program this year and was a strong contributor to his program over the previous four seasons.
Drisdelle will be attending in the fall as a Business major. With an interest in stocks, real estate, and entrepreneurial ventures, he will surely add to the culture both on and off the court in 2019-2020.
"My goal is to win championships and to get that diploma." That's the winning attitude we're craving here at Crandall, and that's not the only thing he brings. "I'm going to bring a lot of heart, energy, and my 100% when I'm on the floor."
"I think Souleye will bring a lot of athleticism to our line up. He's an energy guy that I'm going to rely on to get us going in lazy practices - a real spark plug" says Coach Spirritts. Drisdelle will be playing at the forward spot this year for the Chargers. "He is incredibly versatile with huge potential. I honestly think we got the best big man in the Greater Moncton area and I think other programs may have slept on him."
What brought Drisdelle to Crandall? "It's a university just down the road. I knew some of the guys already and obviously Coach Spirritts meant a lot in the whole process. I'm ready to start my career."
